Shannon Murphy Pallin

With more than 30 years of experience in the floral and event industry, Shannon Murphy Pallin is a sought-after floral designer, creative director, and engaging speaker known for blending high-end design with real-world business insight. Her work spans luxury weddings, large-scale events, and destination celebrations along the Gulf Coast and beyond—each defined by her signature style of elevated, couture floral design and immersive event storytelling.

Shannon’s career began with a passion for entertaining and design, nurtured alongside her grandmother in San Diego. That early foundation led her to train under a prominent California florist before moving to New York City, where she refined her craft at some of the most iconic venues in the country, including The Carlyle and The Plaza Hotel.

Her experience expanded through collaborations with leading creatives and brands, producing work for Martha Stewart and Katie Brown, and contributing to high-profile events for fashion houses such as Calvin Klein and Diane von Furstenberg - executing extraordinary experiences for world-renowned clients, such as Oprah Winfrey. She continued on as a designer for premier event designers including Renny Reynolds and Preston Bailey Events.

Today, Shannon is a seasoned floral industry professional, entrepreneur, and speaker with 30+ years of experience in design, production, and business growth. Shannon’s creative techniques, and behind-the-scenes insights empower florists, designers, and creative entrepreneurs to elevate both their artistry and their businesses.
